KACF training: Deep in the Trenches: Building Unrestricted and Operational Endowments

August 10, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Wichita Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, Wichita, KS 67207

Robust unrestricted and operational endowments are some of the hallmarks of successful foundations that are nimble and strong.  However, they can be the hardest endowments to build.

Aspen Institute Community Strategies Group will present a day-long workshop that dives into the practical details of building unrestricted and operating endowments.  The session led by Janet Topolsky and John Molinaro will bring you leading strategies and creative examples from successful rural community foundations across the country.

You will gain practical knowledge about what works and what doesn’t – knowledge that you can use back home to build these endowments.  You will also leave with an action plan detailing next steps for putting these ideas to work for you.  If you are looking for the nitty-gritty on building unrestricted or operational endowment, this session is definitely for you.

KACF has arranged a special rate of $99 plus taxes (approximately 12.8%) under the room block for the Kansas Association of Community Foundations (KACF). Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations and payments.  Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 316-651-0333, calling Marriott's Reservation Center at 1-800-228-9290, or by going to http://www.marriott.com/ictwe and entering the group code KAFKAFA and dates of stay to make the reservations online.
